Hello to all. I just picked me up a brand new 2020 ram 2500 cummins and was wondering if anyone has done any performance mods yet? If so what MPG are you getting? Better regeneration cycles? Let me hear your thoughts.

I just got my ezlynk tuner with duramaxtuner from calibrated power today. Definitely can feel a difference. I like it for sure!I went this route on my 2020 3500 HO and very satisfied. My brother did the same on his 2016 HO and he too is very satisfied. Haven't had enough miles to give any mpg data but all other aspects are great as is the install and tune changing.

John, couple of questions you are a great knowledge source. Are you worried about warranty issues? is the install of this upgrade just plug and play or do i have to purchase a number of cables? I just had the transmission update done at the dealer. Can i squeak by with my standard 68 tranny as long as i am n ot abusing it?I went this route on my 2020 3500 HO and very satisfied. My 2019 6.7 has about 6500 miles. No towing yet. Typical mileage has been 18.5 - 20 mpg mixed highway and city. The computer is always off by about 2 mpg.

Any tune can void your warranty. I am not worried as the Cummins has a great history. If I have a failure that can be related to the tune I'm probably gonna pay. That said, before I go to the dealer I return the tune to stock. While the dealer can detect the number of flashes he may or may not make an issue. Bottom line I'm risking the warranty but I'm willing to take the gamble.John, couple of questions you are a great knowledge source. There are no "easy" mods you can do to gain anything so don't waste your time or money. Even a full delete on these late model trucks isn't going to gain much mpg. It will certainly void your warranty though so I would think real hard about that.
Congrats on the new truck though

Have emissions come a long way on modern diesels? Are they become reliable again?
