Even with a blue truck the hemi orange cover will look awesome!
Awesome man, thanks for the vote of confidence. I just bought the Rough Country 2.5" leveling kit, I think i'm gonna pick up a magnaflow muffler next, and then the VR & 87mm TB & BT catch can will be my next mods.
Thats gonna dress up the engine compartment nicely, sounds pretty much like what I am doing, I was thinking about the 14" Mufflex. Yours should sound pretty sweet when all done.
Thanks man! Yea I'm really excited. It's so hard not to just pull out the credit card and buy everything at once hahah. also, could you enlighten me as to what the length difference does? Like what is the difference between an 18" muffler and a 24" muffler when they're both made by the same company and all the other specs are the same? Is it louder or something?
Awesome! Man, I can't wait to hop into a HEMI and get one of these!![]()

The bigger the muffler the softer the sound profile so if you were looking for a very aggressive you would do a muffler delete, 14" aggressive, 18" moderate, and 24" for a mellow sound. They have a thread where you can watch video clips and read up a little more to figure out which one is for you.

I dont blame you, I was just going to take it easy with a couple of mods but this Forum is just to tempting after reading all the threads I feel like I just cant stop myself now LOL.![]()
That sounds awesome man. I'm glad to hear it gives it am old school kind of look because that makes me want it anymore. When I do pull the trigger I think I'm gonna go with the Hemi orange. Although my truck is blue so I'm not sure if that would look odd when I have the hood popped showing it off

Chuck my truck is Blue and when the hood opens the HEMI orange says Hello am old school muscle! I wanted to have an old vintage HEMI sticker for even a more old school.
You will like it a lot Chuck the whole package is easy to install- VR and Throttle body. I would high.y suggest a catch can, am only at 600 miles with it and there is some nasty stuff coming from. Pull the trigger and get some photos for us to check out.![]()
) and i've been trying to get some good pics of it stock to compare with later but the weather has been crappy. I have the rough country leveling kit on the way and am buying a magnaflow muffler today, so my first mods should be done by the end of the week and then i'll be getting the VR, TB, and catch can!Awesome man thanks! I really appreciate the input. From looking at your signature it looks like you have almost the exact same truck as mine, just the 2500 instead of the 1500. You've definitely made up my mind about getting the all three of them together, and definitely going with the orange for the VR. And as for pics I'm definitely gonna get you some man don't you worry. I've had the truck for 3 days now ( and already got a speeding ticket) and i've been trying to get some good pics of it stock to compare with later but the weather has been crappy. I have the rough country leveling kit on the way and am buying a magnaflow muffler today, so my first mods should be done by the end of the week and then i'll be getting the VR, TB, and catch can!
Your going to love all of your mods, I know I have. I think when I get back I am going to replace the stock intake and TB and get her dyno'd then again with the VR, TB and 14" mufflex.
That sounds awesome man, that's almost exactly like what I'm planning to do except I just put in an order for the 18" magnaflow. And yea I can already tell this is going to be a fun process although an addicting one haha. I unfortunately am going to have to hold off on the VR and the TB for a while because I have to fork out some cash for a spray on bedliner. I don't want to risk it rusting.

I think this thread has officially made up my mind. Was not sure whether to go S&B or Vararam, but I'm thinking that next time I have some $$ saved up a ported tb and vararam is in order. My wallet hates you guys haha
I hear you bro, I have been saving since last January for the 5 mods I have done (Nerf bars, VR, TB, Muffler and ctch can) but the bedliner I got with the truck and know that it is a must have. First week I had the truck I loaded all the brick from knocking my fireplace down and about 100 sq/ft of chiseled up tile and didnt even make a dent in the liner, that's some awesome stuff.
