Same set up in my '09. I think they dropped it because of the different ratios they run with the 8 spd vs the 5/6spd of the 09-12 Rams. As I recall, even some of the 13s had the 6spd, but the 3.6 has always had the 8spd.

The 6 speed is still being dumped into Canada in the Classic's.I'm not sure if it's still in the 2021 Classics,but it was still in the 2020 Classics up here.Canada is FCA's dumping ground for all their old **** parts.

You can no longer order a 2021 Ram

That means that they have about a month to build the orders that they have already received.
Then they will close the Plants for about 2 to 3 weeks for cleaning & modifications.

2022 first ordering date has not been announced yet, or at least i have not heard about it.

Ram usually has the new year models out by September in time for the First Auto Shows

I found my gear ratio written on my front diff cover and on my window sticker. There is also a vin# lookup tool online.

My 2010 has 3:55s with a Hemi, wonder why they dropped that combo.

Automakers will do that to cut down on variations in order to cut costs. They will look at sales volume (along with market trends and sometimes warranty data along with truck capabilities). There could have been supplier issues for one of the gear combos or maybe they are built at one plant vs another. (which then brings in logistics and again, costs). Could be many reasons!!

I have a 2019 ram 1500 classic with the hemi, mine came with the 6 speed and also has 355
