Just Ordered my 3" Lift.

Just Ordered my 3" Lift. Help? Any Thoughts?

Ordered my 3" Rough Country Lift couple days ago. Hope it comes in soon. 3" doesn't seem like a lot? So could i get a body lift on top of that? I don't know much about lifts so help me out please . It just seems hard finding one because...well..my RAM is 2wd. Lol! Mainly getting it for Sytle and so i can fit bigger tires, a little off roading. But what size tires should i get or would fit? I was about to get 285 70/17 But Pepboys said they wouldnt fit without rubbing so thats why i ordered the lift. Any suggestions or help? Sorry for typing alot, i am new to Ramforum, still trying to figure everything out

BTW : I Own a Atlantic Blue 2002 Dodge RAM Quad Cab 2wd 4.7.

i though about just 1" body lift with some 2.5" suspension lift...

I have this lift on my truck, same year. Ill post pics of it with the 3 inch Lift. Now I have 6 Inches.

An add a leaf is an extra leaf spring that adds load capacity and height in the rear. ($130)

A spacer is a polyurethane spacer that sits on top of the coil to add lift in the front. ($130)

The body lift is a performance accessories 1" puk and bolts from my local fastenal that are an inch longer than the stock body bolts. ($100)

And lastly the lift kit is from Rough Country. It comes with everything you need for $900.

Gonna look good. Just letting you know, that kit wont make youre truck completely level, if thats what youre going for. The three inch springs alone will make it level. I also plan on doing the 1 inch BL like Robb did.

Dang nice trucks! And okay Texas Rammer thanks. Ya i dont mind to much about completely level. I just want to sit higher and fit bigger tires. My RC Lift comes with Coils Springs, 4 Shocks, Boots, And 1 1/2" Rear Blocks & U-bolts. I Wanna look into getting the Body lift also. Got any good internet links to some Body Lifts ??
