Great color. Crank windows? Didn't know that was even an option anymore. This is certainly a 1 of 1. A keeper.

I love the vinyl floor. No one is walking around bare foot in my truck or sitting on the floor so why do I need carpet in my truck or a car? But above a certain trim level you can't get the vinyl.

That side profile has to be my most favorite photo of your truck. Congratulations to both you and your wife.

The Mojave High Desert is magic. We are at 4200 feet and just a 24 mile drive via 4x4 to Big Bear.

I can’t imagine living anywhere else

Agreed. I was born over in Rialto in the mid-1950s and lived there until 14 years old. Been at the beach ever since, but still have family in Rialto, Highland, and Yucaipa, and have family cabins in Crestline. Also used to spend many weekends in Big Bear. I love the beach lifestyle and weather, but still love the desert and mountains. And So Cal has it all! Been fixing up the motorhome since it's been idle for a few years, and JT will be a great midweek shakedown trip. Take the telescope too :D

The only place you can park a big RV and have hookups is at the private Joshua Tree Lakes campground - it sorta cheesy but it’s pretty nice - we have had lots of fiends stay there over the years. It’s very near the Noah Purifoy outdoor museum which is really a magical place and you shouldn’t miss it. And don’t forget to get a sound bath at the Integretron and a cold beer and a great steak at Pappy and Harriets.

Thank for the info! I have been researching the campgrounds inside and outside of the park, and did see the one you mentioned. My motorhome is a class C, only 28' and I actually would like to try to find a spot inside the park mid-week, and am aware there are no hookups inside the park, or cell service. I will try to check out the museum and other spots you mentioned. Imagine I'll be making a few trips to JT. Would be nice to be unplugged for a few days

I just hooked up Sirius XM to the E450 cab radio, so I can still listen to some cable TV networks and all the music channels inside the park, without running the generator and disturbing other campers. I'll keep an eye out for a robin egg blue Ram while on 62 ;)

Nice looking rig....congrats. Used to live in So Calif....grew up there. We moved to the Pacific Northwest 17 years ago after retiring early. Found our paradise....12 elk bedded down behind the shop this morning....caught two salmon yesterday on the river out front. Enjoy that truck....life is good.

Great looking truck. Congrats. That color looks really good with the black bumpers and steel wheels. Some colors don't.

I only waited 30 days for my RCSB to be delivered. I can't imagine waiting 8 months!

I thought my delmonico red RCSB was somewhat rare, but yours takes the cake. There's no way you'll ever see another one like it!

Great pics! BTW those pics have made me begin planning a trip in my motorhome to Joshua Tree. Only live 2.5 hours away, but haven't been there in decades. Only driven past. Love the desert, even though I now live on the coast in OC.

Where on the coast?

We'll be there at Jumbo Rocks in December, need somewhere warm to relax!
