In a different part of my life I used to put about 25 to 30,000, miles a year on my vehicle, that's why I always had a winter beater up north so that I could spread the mileage out. But not getting those miles like some of the postings above, and in a way it's sad because it means I don't get to enjoy my truck as much as I used to. Now I'm going to have to go out for a drive today.

Same. I love driving it even more now that I had the exhaust manifolds resurfaced.

1/4 tank is lowest recommended fuel level.
Adequate fuel is needed to cool the in-tank fuel pump motor. It will fail from heat degraded insulation if you run low fuel a lot.
Gotta drop tank to replace. Not fun.
Plus low fuel will tend to plug screen with crap no longer floating around.

100% agreed

especially here in the colder climates in winter was always a thing for us so the fuel lines didnt freeze...
yes they put chemicals to prevent that, but old habits are hard to break.

Boird, you need to take a trip down here to FL!

At the rate I am putting miles on my PW I will have 144000 on it when its paid off. Bought it new in 2021 with 27 miles on it. Over 80,000 on it now.
Drive it, maintain well with quality fluids and filters and enjoy it. Hey it's a truck, LOL.

I have just short of 87k on my 17. I plan on keeping it as long as possible as it's a nice comfortable vehicle. In the late 60s and early 70s I drove over 100k miles every year for 7 years. For many years after that I had a 80 mile round trip to work every day. I calculated that I have driven well over a million miles in my 59 years of driving. I am ready for a completely self driving car with a recliner.

Range 43mi. You really shouldn't let your tank get that low. If there was some middle of the night emergency and you needed the truck you wouldn't get very far.
Mines almost always full, never let it get less than 2/3's

Wife has a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek that we bought new. It has 99,300 miles so getting close. No complaints and no issues with it since day 1. Been a very good car. My 2018 2500 Ram only has 38,000 miles but I work from home so only drive it a few days a week and usually shorter trips.
