So I am interested in kicker bars for my ram 1500. Its a 2009 with a zone 6 inch lift. Ive found some kicker bars from Hugh country. Do these work with my zone lift? Does anyone know of any that would work?

First instinct reading this is that I would think there are better options to place money into a 2009. Kicker bars are cosmetic with no benefit to our 1500 trucks. Although they look cool on the bigger trucks we don’t get the same benefits nor are they needed with an independent front suspension and coil springs in the rear. You have to remember most trucks you see these on are leaf spring solid axle trucks. I do however set these trucks up daily and happy to help you spend money with @Nick@GotExhaust.So I am interested in kicker bars for my ram 1500. Its a 2009 with a zone 6 inch lift. Are you talking about the ones that go to the front cross member from the frame to support the front drop down brackets? So I am interested in kicker bars for my ram 1500. If it's for the front, they add a significant amount of strength to keep the lowered front cross member from getting ripped off. Normal on road use, you're probably fine without them, but if you off-road it at all, you'd probably want them. There's a lot of stress applied to the factory mounts when everything is dropped down.Ummm, kicker bars? Like anti wrap bars for the rear axle? Or bars for the front sub frame?
Either or, both are not needed, unless its for aesthetics.
I would assume that if you buy a good quality kit, it will probably come with them if they are a needed thing. Im sure most of the good quality kits have had vigorous testing and engineering involved. If it's for the front, they add a significant amount of strength to keep the lowered front cross member from getting ripped off.
