Hey guys...i just got my Kicker 11KS693 for my front doors.... do i have to worry about any installation issues? i'm only asking because i want to make sure i have everything i need. I bought them from amazon.com so do i need any brackets or cables for it? Any video on it would be great.

should need a little trimming, varies per truck, but hook them right up to factory wiring. Same speakers I have.

cool man...i heard somewhere on hear that non factory 6x9 you need some kind of spacer because the magnet hits the mirror (or the mirror doesn't go down all the way).

I dont have anything, it was pretty much pull door panel and pop out factory, install Kicker's. Some need trimmed, depending on RC or 4 door truck, as doors are slightly different.

ok this sucks ass.... trying to put in my kicker 693 and they don't line up. It's almost to the point where the plastic piece behind the 6x9 (it sits right in in front of the metal pilar for the door) needs to be cut or trimmed...how much to I actually cut\trim so that my kicker 6x9 fit flush to the speaker outline?

Someone around here posted pictures a while back on fitting them, but I can't seem to find them. do some searching. I saw the pictures on here when I was looking to install new 6X9's but decided to go with the Mopar kickers instead since they are custom fit.

I found this thread
http://www.ramforum.com/f75/how_swap_out_speakers-17999/

but now I cant find any spacers. I went to best buy and they don't have them. grrr.....i'm checking online to see if walmart, or some other electronic stores might have the spacers or adapters....kinda ****** me off a little that they don't go right in.
