So, my rear door locks on both sides do not unlock/lock with either the remote or front door lock switches (the front locks still work with both).

I removed the front door panel and unplugged the wiring to the door lock mechanism and am trying to test it to see if it is getting juice. I'm not showing that it is getting any power, but before I tear into the wiring, want to make sure that I am actually testing it right. Below is the picture of the plug and I put the positive and negative terminals on my volt meter into each slot, actuate the door locks and get nothing. Am I doing this wrong?

Any tips you guys have would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!!

Yep, on both sides I've got busted wires in the door hinge area (after the plug in the pillar, in the black plastic wrap area). Thought about just buying new wiring harnesses for them to save time, but at a average price of $180 a piece, not gonna do that. Now trying to decide if I just splice for now and get it done quick, or redo the whole harness with a larger gauge wire. Probably just splice and save the project for later... bummer :drink_nl:

Maybe you could do a write up or video of this. I have the same problem on one side.
