Thanks for the heads up! I purchased the T handle prior to the coilovers so luckily I already have it.

What's interesting is mine seem to be reversed based on the curvature of the hoses. The hoses should bend towards the front of the vehicle right? The larger of the two gaps looks like it's on my passenger side. I don't think the hoses will bend the opposite way.

Correct. They're marked rigth for passenger and left for driver, but the hoses tell you all. The'll be facing forward when installed.

If your passenger CO has more open threads just make sure you keep the driver side with one extra more, so you may end up with say 5 driver, 4 passenger.

King is swamped, I needed my rear 2.5s revalved and stroke lengthening. Emailed Don Thuren and he said even for him to get return emails from King are taking days to weeks if ever. Luckily he modded my shocks for me. The wait for custom tuned kings was already lengthy now its almost eternity [emoji1787]

As data points, notice how one of them may have (mine came this way from King) what it seems to be 1/2 open thread compared to the other been fully closed (no gap between the adjuster and the top cap)

This should be your driver side

Passenger is flully closed

The difference wil account for your driver side lean, so keep that difference when you adjust.

Every 5 full turns will be 1" of lift. 500lbs springs will sag over time even with your factory front bumper so if you did just 2-3 turns, you'll loose some lift over time. Put 5 full turns in them and that should be a good starting point for 2.5", 3 full turns for 2". You can adjust them if you have a vice so it's easier to do that way before installing them. Once installed you'll have to be creative with your tools.

When adjusting the CO's the instructions say to loosen the pinch bolt 1 full turn.
then turn the adjuster clokwise to lift, counter clockwise to lower. then tighthen the pinch bolt, snug is plenty. don't overtorque.

I've documented my experience with them in my built thread, you can start reading from post #117 here in page 12 you'll see what i had to do to set the adjuster with the CO mounted.
https://www.ramforum.com/threads/2014-ram-1500-express-crew-cab.124750/page-12

See if you can source the 2.5 King T coilover spanner. Will make the job a lot easier than the one King includes with the coilover once the CO's are installed and you need to turn the collar.

I'm at 14 open threads driver, 13 open threads passenger because i have a bumper and winch, rock sliders etc so i'm literally at the Max and if i added a skid i'll need to upgrade my CO springs.

Have fun.
I reread thru your post’s regarding adjusting my front coil overs but not sure I understand how much I could adjust mine and if it would create issues with front suspension. Quick-Shifter installed 1.5” icons, hellwig sway, pan hard & core rear controls arms, I love how much tighter truck feels but starting to miss my leveled look & spacers fixed rub on uca’s now touches fender. I would value/appreciate your opinion on possible solutions, trying not to do anything that be counter productive to the overall performance of the suspension. Thank you6AF743A5-5607-498D-9FC5-43B26FCB98B7.jpeg0A3AFF0E-22C1-4613-BA5D-4B7A55C3D397.jpegFFAC1329-5F30-447C-8314-FEB228AEFD3C.jpeg

I guess you want to go up what 1/2" in the front? 3/4" ?
every full turn in your adjuster will be 0.2" of lift. for that little rubbing simply tell your alignment dude you give you a little more caster. 4.5* should take care of it.

I measured fender height today, rear is 42” & front is 40.25”. I think if I could raise front 1” or 1.25” that would be close enough to look “level” but is their any thing I’ll stressing front end related that I should replace/upgrade & how hard is it to adjust them on the truck, I’m a amateur at best & will have to drive to work the day after. If the increased height fixes the rub would I still need alignment? Thank you

Yes you'll need alignment if you turn the adjusters to go up. (turn clockwise). Do you have a picture with your current cv angles ? Do you have aftermarket UCA's ?

You're all set, you can go up 3-4" full turns clockwise on the adjusters. What's your spring rate ?,It's printed in the coils, you can see the numbers there underneath the res hose in your picture below. can you post the value?

Adjusting is super easy, now days i can do both sides in around 30 minutes cause i've had to adjust them several times, mostly sag every time i add more weight because of mods. Last time heavier bumper than the one i had before + winch. I'm at the limit of my 500lbs coils. literally i have mostly only 1 maybe 2 full turns left in my CO's and then i'm out of threads to keep going up. If i add an skid plate i'll need heavier coil springs to maintain the same height as i should not add more preload in my CO's thatn what i currently have.

I've posted how to adjust the King CO's before, but you may need couple more tools than just the spanner King includes with the kit. i had to cut a 5/16 puch to overcome this issue below of res hose blocking the spanner from turning.

Check post#143 here in my build thread. Easy peasy

To do this yourself, just lift the truck from the crossmember for example and put 2 jacks under there or lift one side, either way the main idea is to remove the wheel and allow the side you're working on to droop without having tension in the LCA, so put your jack in the cross member. I use 2 jacks cause my driveway sits at an incline so i'm always a little more paranoid of having more than one jack under there at all times :)

This pic is for illustration only, you don't have to remove your res to adjust your CO's.

So Remove wheel in full and support the front by the crossmember
loosen up pinch bolt in the CO, one full turn and no more.
Turn your adjusting collar clockwise to go up, you can use the pinch bolt as a reference to know you did a full turn every time .
When you done with all the turns you wanted/needed tighten the pinch bolt (snug it up, don't overtorque)
put your wheel back up and repeat on the other side.
Take the truck to the alignment shop and get her aligned.

This video would give you a better idea if you never done this before. Same concept of what we need to do to adjust our Kings CO's

I ordered my 2.5 Kings in mid-December and my last update from Thuren said probably another 3 weeks. Seems once I asked for an update at week 12, they updated their website to reflect the newer wait times. So I’m looking at about 4 months unless there is a further delay.

Still waiting....and no updates. I have a pile of upgrades pending due to the delay.

As 04/16/21 King or Fox new waiting times are now 6-9 months. I’m just glad I snatched my last King set in May 2020 when those waiting times were 14 weeks. I remember I was complaining about waiting times, as of now Holy Fock those are nasty times to wait to have fun. Well worth every penny or whatever time you have to wait though. Zero regrets here and I’ll go King every time I can. You get what you pay for.
I have a full backup set with Ranchos. When I send my Kings for service I put the Ranchos back so my downtime is the time it takes to switch shocks/coilovers. Worth every penny too to have a backup set and to know the basics on how to wrench your suspension in/out. Got a lifetime alignment as well so alignments are now free.

Good luck.

Not sure if you ended up getting rear shock yet but I am about to pull mine off and sell them they have about 20k street miles on them.
