Lag In performance after S&b CA I install

Hello, I'm new to the site. Been following awhile but my first post. I just installed a S&b Cai on my 2017 ram Larime 5.7 today. Now, I do notice more peddle response but quite a lag to pick up at firts. Is this normal until the computer learns the new air/full ratio or what?

I'm assuming you have no CEL's?

You can disconnect battery cable for half hour or it takes a few days driving to re program. Pedal commander will help if still have lag.

No, no CEL'S are on. When I was installing, I had the negative. Battery cable off for roughly 1 hour. Maybe just need to give it a few days like you said Nova John and what it does. Thanks for the feed back guys.
