I just ordered mine last night lol. Got the standard blues for the gauges, and went with the high intensity whites on the climate controls.
Did the B8.5d's for the cluster, and the Neo5's for the climate control. These work, I've done it before. Not that big of a deal. A couple hours max. I'd do standard on the cluster lights for the exact reason you're worried about, especially if you're going white! Blue standards still look great. And the white in the climate controls just brightens the already existing colors around the dials. You'd need 11 B8.5d', and 3 Neo5's. This can all be found at superbrightleds.com. Hope this helps.

Yeah, those actually are the totals for the 04, I did one a few months ago, they also wanted the trip/odometer done and some other things too. Fun job (yeah right). But yes, 11 for just the cluster, and 3 for the climate control. I'm pretty sure they're the same through 08. I'll be finding out shortly when I take mine out. I've only done 04-06 trucks. your total will be about 36-38 bucks shipped! Pretty sweet deal for such a big change in appearance.

Yup get some blue tint off of ebay or someone might have some that they could send to you.

For the light, it is a NEO5, that means it is 5mm. The number at the last is the size of the bulb.

haha that makes sense. if i used blue led's vs the white what would the difference be? just a darker blue color with the blue led's?

Awesome! Thanks for info!! Think I'm gonna do amber for my cluster, and the HD clear leds for the AC controls.

Use blue, it's going to be a dark blue since their dark enough to overtake the green tint stuck onto the cluster. If you use white like I did, it has a lighter blue, almost white color. I really like the way mine looks even though it's not a true white.

Looks good. How bad is it to take the dash and everything off.

I would go all blue if I was you... It would look weird with dark blue in the gauges and then a lighter blue on the climate controls. Just my opinion though, do whatever you want since its your truck.
