Can I wire aftermarket foglights into the factory fog light plug?

Yeah I hit a dear a few months back and jacked up the OE bumper so to an off-road that came with 4 LED running lights. I do have factory running lights so I wondered if I could just cut the wire and run them from the factory harness? 2017 ram 1500 sportsman

Should be fine as long as the wattage for the new setup is lower than the wattage of the factory bulbs

Oh well dang I’m sure these are higher since there are 4 (2 each side) at 30 watts each

I'd bet you're ok at 30w x4. Pushing it a touch, but probably ok.

You could use the factory wiring to trigger a new relay and wiring that's heavier.
