LED Head Lights

I have a 2015 1500 Express that has the quad lights. As everyone else my headlights suck. I was looking at getting LEDs but do I need a conversion kit or are they plug and play?

the led bulbs will be plug and play but make sure they come with canbus adapters/antiflicker modules.

You cannot just put an LED bulb in a incandescent fixture, it won't have the right reflectors and will scatter your light all over the place. You have to have reflectors that are designed for your bulbs.

I don't believe that so much. As long as the LED mimics the light output and position of the incandescent bulb it will work fine.
I have retrofitted LED's in 2 motorcycles and hope to do it with my ram quad lights as well. I just don't love the pricing!

You can run LED's or HID's in the fixture just fine. The light spreads more due to the nature of the light and reflector that is built for the halogen bulb.

I put Diode Dynamic SL1 in my quads about a month ago. I changed the settings to LED with AlphaOBD and did not use any canbus correctors or anti-flicker modules and so far so good. I installed low beam, high beam and switch back blinker/running lights.

Yeah they will work but without a cutoff like the projectors have you will blind oncoming traffic.
