Strange Led License Plate Issue

Hello their all. I've been lurking for a bit here and on other forums. Never been mutch of a "talker" anyway I've been tinkering away at my 2010 ram. ie; led reverse, tinted tails, diablo intune, 9005 fog bulbs, led tailgate bar. Anyway I bought some led 194 bulbs for plate lights and they worked fine for about a week but one is now only coming on ever so faintly that you can barely see the light in the individual chips anybody run into this before. I've been digging around but couldn't find any other similar issues.

I have found that most T10 LEDs that I have bought require a little messing around with in order to fit/light properly. I have had several that do exactly what you describe and I just move them (wiggle I guess) until they come on at full brightness. I think it has to do with the LED plugs not being exact to the manufacturer's plug but IDK for sure.

It could also be the bulbs that I buy. I go through eBay and get them right from China. I used to search for US sellers but found that I ended up paying for the exact same bulb but getting 10-20 times the bulbs for cheaper than the price of just one from the US seller. I don't see the point in paying someone else to bring them into the country when I can do it myself.
