i just added the 7 in premium cluster and im planning to add led taillights, will they cause any bulb out message since they alreay have resistors built in? I heard the premium clusters can be finicky with led bulbs.
I already get a bulb out warning for my led license lights and i can live with the bulb error messages as long as they dissapear after i start truck.

If they have the correct resistor built-in and they are functioning you should not get a warning message. I'm running the factory Laramie tail lights on my truck with resistors. I have the premium cluster and I don't have any problems. I'm not sure what they actually put in these aftermarket tail lights with a built-in resistors but I've heard of some people having problems with them and I'm not sure why. Worst case scenario is you could just install your own resistors.

Sorry but I have to ask? What is the premium cluster?

I got the factory LED tails from Retroshop.us, JJ has them and the harnesses with resistors. Love them.

If you have an autoenginuity you can run LED tails w/o needing resistors. Just have to enable the LED Tails option and build harness' w/o resistors. Its what im running on mine. ht1CXO6.jpg
