Hi All,
My '01 Dodge Ram 1500 2 wheel drive is making loud grinding noise when I turn. The left front tire is rubbing the upper A frame. It is grinding away rubber from inside of tire next to bead. It did this once before and it was a bad wheel hub bearing. Put a new one and new tires and asll was well. The bearing has no play now (been 11/2 yrs since replaced). My lower balljoints have a little play. The upper is anglinging out when the truck is jacked up and wheel removed. Will bad balljoints cause the tire to rub like this. I probably need new joints by now with about 142,000 miles on my truck. Anyway, any help asap is appreciated. I need to get it back on the road tomorrow for work. Thanks, George
