1997 Lund 1900 LE Pro-V
No picture of ours but same as this one, except green
Tons of room for 3 guys, outrageous amount for two guys.
handle all the water I will ever be on
200 Hp Mercury.
Fished a Lake Eufaula tournament, back in the late 90's. Pre-fish, day before, 30mph winds with gusts up to 50+. we were the only ones to get one the water. Others tried but the emergency bilge kicking on while their boat was still on the trailer, being backed into the Lake turned most away.
those few who did manage to get off their trailers, quickly found the waves and spray far too much and got off the water without ever getting beyond the no wake buoy.
We got the occasional spray but not bad.
|Caught fish, which is only thing that mattered
Last 40 years, I've rigged a ton of boats, for friends and the like, have yet to find one I prefer over this one. For tubing, pulling skiers, yes. plenty of better boats.
For Pure fishing? have not found one yet.
Then again, I rarely spend any time, WOT across a lake. 30 minutes is most I can ever recall and that only a few times. most of my time is spent fishing or trolling at 0.7 to 1.,2 MPH. If that big motor is running for long, something is seriously messed up.
Do love my trolling motor!
Just hit my Way points, on the depth finder, and tell the trolling motor to go to next one in the line.
Get there and hit spot anchor lock to fish the crap out of that spot., when done, release spot lock anchor and tell trolling motor to take me to next way point.
All I got to do is look up, once in awhile, to make sure we don't hit anything.
