Do you have a angle view of that and Showing how it looks from the side?

Those are the only pics I have of it

Did you replace the bumper when you added the fog lights? Your set up looks awesome! I am watching this thread because I need to add some extra lights too. Looking to add fogs and extra driving lights.

EDIT: I just finished reading all the pages of this thread and just now saw that you had answered a similar question regarding the bumper - that you did get a new shell for chrome bumper.

Built this push/grill guard and mounted two Hella rally lights, two Perlux amber fog and 24" led drive/flood light also fabbed in reciver hitch. All run off separate relays and isolated fuse panel.View attachment 187885
When you say "built" do you mean you actually did the metal fab or did you piece it together from a manufacturer? Cause I want one either way.

Alot of good ideas in here. Definitely keep them rolling in. I have some DOT/SAE fogs coming from Amazon. They were 100$ so I'll play with mounting positions once I have them in hand.

First pic is low beams, second is highs.
H9 bulbs in quad housings. Light is a bit blown out and brighter than in person. Not bad, but I just need a little more, especially on back roads like this.

Hoping to see deer before they try to commit suicide with my truck. My jeep has a bumper, the ram has tin foil and plastic, so I'm always paranoid, especially during Rut 20191203_180820.jpg20191203_180917.jpg

I couldn't link it directly from Amazon, but look up the senlips in the advertisement I attached. Lots of pics. It actually doesn't look terrible. Once I get my lights in I'm gonna play around with my bumper cap. If I can get the lights to mount sturdy enough to not bounce I'm gonna look into one of these silly things. For 20$ it might be worth a shot till I track down a bumper I likeScreenshot_20191204-083728.jpg

i am still not sold lol. i dont like the look of stuff hanging off the front bumper that far. i think i will stick to behind the grill. i was thinking of buying that mount without the bar and reversing it. that way it would hang over the top of the bumper if possible.

I agree. With my bumper I don't have many great options. Than again I haven't messed with it much either. Once I get my lights in gonna really start messing with it.

I wanna see the lights, and how they perform. My fogs havent been operational since I got my truck, just never took the time to check it out.

Lights are here. Cant access where I wanna mount them without really tearing the front bumper apart and it's too cold for that. Found this out after I drilled the top plastic and there's actually multiple layers I couldn't differentiate looking from top and bottom.

Looking into semi permanent solutions until I can get a bumper for this truck.

Well I got lazy, It's a Go Rhino 3000 series guard kit but I didn't like how it mounted, the vertical end plates mounted centered over the tow hooks, which kinda hindered there use! So I moved them inboard. I also wanted a front hitch so I included that when I fabbed the mounts in. The supports for the Hella lites(round) I built. So maybe you can call it a combined effort?

Nice. I've considered go rhino. Just wondering how I'd go about getting a winch mount in there.

So got my lights on. Used the daystar firewall grommet, drilled through the clutch delete plate like jb1 did. Will be easy to add the aux panel without hassle.

Wired in a basic rocker switch, ran the harness behind grill and snuck wires under bumper cap. The harness provided was actually decent, had a relay, and was plug and play. Excited to see how they throw light, seem to be Pretty nice for 100$.

The mount is aluminum, it's cheesy. I enlarged the holes to take a 1/2 bolt through the bumper. It vibrates a tiny bit at idle but I don't care. It doesn't look TERRIBLE, so for now it will do. $120 I can't *****. Cheap mods FTW!20191209_162628.jpg20191209_162617.jpg20191209_162553.jpg20191209_162600.jpg

It's a $20 Amazon piece so I kept my expectations low. It lined up fine, and I only drilled because the bolts I had lying around were too big. The steel bumpers have all kinds of bends to them so only 2 bolts hold it on. But I really don't see it mounting much more rigid with more hardware. It's thin and flexs easy. It surely won't do any good if something hits it either, but again I bought it simple to add lights to. I also tend to overbuild everything so i can nit pick it for days. For $20 I couldn't even get material and paint to make this so all in all its a win.

Night time shots for eye candy. The lights do exactlt what I wanted and fill out the low beams. With them on I almost have no need for high beams. It's rainy today and I had no glare, oncoming traffic didn't flash me at all. So I'd say this was successful. Picture with headlights is my low beams. They are adjusted below small cars side mirrors to give an idea of actual height. 20191209_193846.jpg20191209_193901.jpg
