I have a 2014 and I have been told by a few different people to put a leveling kit on it, but have been told by a few others that I should add a lift kit. The problem I have is that both sound like good ideas.

I've also thought about getting a Kelderman air bag suspension put on so that I can drop it down to fit in the garage, but also give me the "lifted" look when I'm out and about.

I wanted to get some input on what some of you have done, pros/cons to what you've done and if given the option would you change anything?

Thanks.

All depends on personal preference and budget. I like the looks of lifted over leveled.

It's conpletely up to you. It also depends on what your trying to accomplish. If fitting in the garage is a consern then I would get out the handy dandy tape measure and see how much room you have and stay below that. If you want to run 37in tires your going to need a lift and you can trow fitting in the garage out. A level and I beleieve 1/4 in wheel spacers will fit some 35 in tires on your truck and you will fit In the garage.

living in Fargo ND... I dont see a lowered truck as an option here lol.

Like already posted it depends on what you're willing to spend, and what you want to accomplish. My favorite look is easily a ( 4'' Lift + 35's ). It just looks perfect !

with a level you have need to look into UCA's, as the factory ball joints can not handle leveling kit very well. A true suspension lift will keep your geometry correct, and give you a much tougher look.

For me personally I already bought leveling shocks (Bilstein 5100s) and plan to add a 3" body lift in the future. I believe the shocks are compatible with some of the lift kits too, FYI, so its not really an either/or scenario. As for the UCA issue mentioned, you might want to research it but its a bit inconclusive if Bilsteins (or Rancho's for that matter) will pop the UCA on the 13+ Rams. The front spacers definitely will cause issues.

Lifts start at around $1400 for parts alone, so they are pricey. For me, I don't do hardly any offroading so I have no use for the the suspension side of it and I can get close to a 6" lift by running the Bilstein 5100s at 2.8" and a 3" body lift (also a 1-1.75" spacer in the rear so it doesn't sit nose high).

If you decide to lift do it right. don't do spring spacers. Go with front spring coilovers. Or you can do like and me and do a reg 6in with spring spacers hate the ride and just add the coilovers later. either way now with BSD/Fox coilovers my ride is better than stock. It costs though. again like its been said its budget and what you want
