Good evening,
I have purchased a truck roughly 2 years ago with a leveling kit on the front end of the truck. Recently I replaced the passenger side axle due to stripped splines and the new axle broke within a month.
My mechanic and myself are trying to figure out if this is due to the higher angle of the CV shaft (aka from leveling kit) or just a bad axle?
The truck is a 2008 Crew Cab 1500 with 70,000 miles.
Has anyone heard of or experienced this? And if so, what are the solutions?
Thanks!
