I have a 2016 laramie with air suspension. I was wanting to level it out and am not knowledgeable on this at all. Just bought truck a few months ago.
What size will level it and any other mods required?

Most of the leveling kits I see say "w/o air ride". So the ones that don't say that are ok?

leveling links will trick the system into thinking it’s at normal ride height. That’s pretty much your only option. Do your research on it air ride can be pain

Dont waste your money on the air suspension. Im removing mine and going to regular suspension after 80K miles the ASCM failed and now the dealer is saying its going to cost upwards of $1700 (not covered by a warranty) by the time they get new ASCM, program it and then flush the system of all moisture. IMO get rid of it because it is going to fail eventually. There are multiple threads on every forum and everyone has an issue at some point.

Write up I found on how to swap

First of all don't let anyone fear monger you into a major undertaking and expense.

Yes your A/S could fail. There have been numerous reports of failures but there has been numerous reports of problem free air suspensions as well. Much like the national media, people run to the internet to report problems but are less likely to report that all is well. Keep in mind the A/S system is one of more expensive options so that likely adds to the criticism.

It seems that many of the reported A/S problems are related to cold weather. I see you appear to be from Alabama so your climate should be in your favor. Especially when compared to Alaska and other cold weather locations.

Now on to your actual question about leveling. Leveling can be very simple. Just installing front level links (less than $100 for the pair and 15 minutes or so per wheel). There are many manufacturers of the links and you can find several videos showing the install on You Tube or on the manufacturers websites. Here is a link (pun intended) to the install videos of one of our sponsoring vendors that supply the links.

A couple other link supplier's are Revel Performance & CFT. I am sure you can find videos from them as well.

There have been some (not all) reports that leveling links can make the ride stiffer. Let Google be your friend.

If the links don't satisfy you, you can take it to more involved leveling solutions by installing links on all 4 corners or installing a full blown lift kit. These steps get more expensive and involved as you go. Again let Google be your friend.

Good Luck!
