is there any real gain is putting a leveling kit on your truck?

i was looking at a friends truck who did it, but really cant see a difference,

If you take your truck off the pavement pretty far it's nice to get the bumper a little higher off the ground. I beat mine up quite a lot even after lifting.

If you're driving on the road only then it's just looks, not really anything else.

i dont rock crawl or anything even when i go off road its mostly gravel roads and flat pastures

Real gain how ? there are advantages and disadvantages depending on usage.
Usage is the key. have you seen the plastic piece of chit shin/valance spoiler you have underneath your front bumper ? it's worst in Silverados :), Take that sucker off, free and it'll give you some extra clearance offroad. If you have a pavement queen then your MPG might suffer.

How much “lift” is that and what brand? Did you also put the level kit on the rear?


Bils on front at 2.8, 1.5" TGC spacers on the rear, plus I have a 1.5" body lift. Plus I'm riding on 35s now too, not the stock 275s
