They are overpriced! 4wheelparts.com is always overpriced and I don't understand why people buy from them.

The local dealer offered to install the daystar kit on my truck for $350. Way overpriced for parts and laybor. It looked a little different than the one you linked to but maybe it is a stock photo. The Daystar I saw was plastic and overpriced compared to lots of other kits available. I found some reviews online that people were not getting the same leveling results as what the kit was marked, such as 2" on a kit marked 2.5".

I installed the HBS in my truck but removed it. I purchased it used so maybe it wasn't the height I was told it should be. It was 0.4" lower than level on my truck. I sold it to a friend who put it on his '08 and he likes it. His wasn't as high in the rear as mine.

I installed on my '13 a 2.5" Summit Engineering kit off ebay. It was only $45 delivered. It went in perfectly and I couldn't be happier with the price or results. Before the level I was -2.625" off from level. After it was -0.125". I would buy it again.

All I have dealt with is 4wd, nothing 2wd.

There are a TON of leveling post on here where everybody gives the same advice on a weekly bases. Just scroll down and read through some. Personally I would NOT do a spacer kit on a 2wd. I tried installing a Daystar on my 2wd and it screws the angle of the upper arm and ball joint.

Solution, CST sells an upper arm that allows for more travel, but honestly I would just get the spindle lift kit from CST. Keep stock geometry, nice ride, no weird angles on your ball joints.

Yours being an 08' might be able to use something like adjustable coil kit or something like that, or maybe the spacer kit works better on the 08's, mine is an 03' so that is as far as my personal experience goes.
