Im sure this has been posted before but here goes again. IM am getting ready to lift my 2013 express, my question is has anyone done much towing with a lift. I currently have a 30ft 6500 pound camper i tow, i also have the airlift 100 airbags under the truck. Should i stay with my leveling kit i have or will it be ok to lift and if so would 6inch be to much or should i stay with say a 4 inch. More than likely will be putting a set of aftermarket wheels and 35's on it. Any help would be appreciated.

Why wouldn't it work? there are a TON of lifted trucks around here pulling everything from travel trailers to monster toy haulers (they have to lift those as well)
You will likely need a longer drop shank but that should be about it.

I have an 09 with a CST 7 inch lift and i tow a 30 foot Sierra that weighs about the same, I just got a W/D hitch , and it handles perfect, I have bags but dont have them in yet, I had to get a drop shank for the W/D hitch.

Or you could just go with a 3in body lift it won't change the suspension for towing wise it will just lift the body and you can easily fit 35s but if it is a gooseneck trailer then I would most definitely not use the body lift because the bed is lifted on block and doesn't sit on the frame but they work well heck I don't even have my crush blocks in yet and last week I had a 900lb safe in the bed and a 12 foot trailer and there was no sag at all with the airbags

Thanks for the good replys i would really like to stay with suspension lift unless just needed a couple more inches later on down the road. My truck only has 3.55 in it witch is why im wanting to stay with a 35 inch tire, Was quoted 1600 for a gear swap...Now i have to figure out if i need a 4 or 6 i realy want the 6 cause there is only 150 difference in the kits but i dont want to run a 37 and still try to tow, is anyone running a 35 with 6 or more inch lift..

towing with the 35's and 3.55's would be your issue, not the lift itself. if the trailer is 6500 lbs loaded, you should be fine. the truck might lug a bit on hills and downshift alot, but will tow it. i would get 17" aftermarket wheel, imo. save the weight.

Already looked into that i will be putting on aftermarket wheels in 17 or 18. Also going to try a at instead of a mt just depends on what i can find. Would a 35 with 6inch look alright i no rough country calls for a 37 with there 6. Im more than likely going with rc because they are cheaper and their home base is only 25 miles from me.

Yes I think it would still look good but I think you might wish you put 37's on it though. The 4" IMO would look the best with 35's .

I have 35's with a 6" lift. You could fit 37's under it but I like the 35's. I do a lot of towing and the truck does just fine. I have air lift 1000 and it helped quite a bit. I also have the 3.55 rear diff. I wish I had Yukon 4.11's but the 3.55 does fine, it just hunts for gears every now and then.

4" with 35s would be perfect I think. It gives you a great compromise. Plus since your planning in 35s with 3.55 gears and towing, I wouldn't want a much larger tire then that.

Good luck with your choice !
