Hey Everyone,

I'm new to this site. I have a 2012 RAM 1500 Big Horn Crew Cab and looking to get a 4in Suspension lift. I've narrowed it down to either a
Rough Country or Superlift with the Billstein shocks. I've already got
a K&N Series 63 CAI and Flowmaster Super 40 Dual IN/OUT exhaust.

Im looking to also add

33/12.50 Toyo Open Country
20in Fuel Hostage Black and Machined Rims
Bully Dog GT Gas Tuner

I got in touch with Rock and Roll Offroad in Dallas TX which is where my truck is until I return from overseas and they quoted me $5724 out the door price for a Rough Country lift and the 33's, 20in wheels, Bully Dog GT Tuner. They recommended BDS but I told them that I was looking to save money so they said Rough Country would be good.

After doing some more research I found that Superlift offers a 4in lift with Billstein shocks all round. Would anyone recommend this over the Rough Country? Is the quote I got a pretty legit price?

Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks guys.

If i did the math correctly, thats about $2k almost in labor....From what I have seen, shops charge around 4-800 per install for labor. Then include installing the Tuner and mount/blance of the tires, thats another $100 or so. I would say max, $1000 in labor for what you want. This is just my opinion, but get more quotes.

Both Superlift and RCX are great. Mopar actually sticks their name on the Superlift and sells it for an inflated price. Bilstein shocks are always great, whether you add them to the Superlift or RCX lift.

I say you go with the rough country 6" lift. I think you might regret a 4". I say that because even the 6" isn't rediculous. Only thing with that is you will definitely need some 315 + tires...

Secondly, They are charging way too much for labor... its almost 2 grand!
