Im looking for a subtle lift for my truck. Its a 2010 single cab 4x4. Im looking at 2.5" spacers for front and rear. I want to try and keep the rake as i tow a bass boat, sometimes for long distances. Would 2.5's affect the ride quality at all? Ive read that anything more than 2.5" will screw up these front ends. Im not willing to spend thousands of dollars for a small lift. If spacers are going to cause me too much trouble down the road ill just keep it stock.

thanks

Then 2.5 lift shouldn't hurt anything. I advise after install getting a front end alignment though. Just to be safe. You'd also be able to safely run a 35" tire aswell

im running 285/65/17's on it atm on stock height with no rubbing at all. Depending on how they look after the slight lift i may go one or two sizes bigger, have to see how much more room it gives me. I like the look of the 17's with the bigger tires.

You wouldn't have to change rim size just tire size.
