iam thinking about doing a lift on my truck and putting truck rims and tires on it but i dont know how high i should go what will work and whats good quality the thing is is that i have a 40 ft camper that weighed in at a cat scale was 4600 front axle 7000 rear axle and 15300 on the trailer axle i still would need to tow the trailer and just was looking for some advise on what to do also i dont want to go air lift due to price

4inches and a level would look good. and can get a hitch that lowers so itll almost be the same hight. 4inches you should be able to fit 35s.

i have a fifth wheel so the drop hitch is a good idea but wont work but thanks for your help

also i think that 22.5 tires are 40 inches tall and 24.5 are 43 inches tall so i would need to go over four inches

I would stick with a 4" lift for your situation. I tow a 25' cuddy cabin and it is a pita with my lift. Big lifts really change a lot of geometry and just aren't meant for towing big loads. I know lots of guys do it, I am one of them, but I strongly recommend against it.

i agree with not going bigger than you need to but do you think that i would rub i would also do bilsteins wich would make it 2.8 inches higher

Yeah thats what I thought, my buddy had a f250 with 8 inch lift that was towing a 5th wheel and it was just a bad situation so he went back to factory and he said its a TON better now.

Going forward with a big lift isn't the problem. The problem is making emergency maneuvers/stopping. The lift already dramatically changes handling, add a big trailer and you're asking for disaster.

yeah i never thought about that if i want a lift maybe i will just get rid of the trailer haha thanks for your help
