So do you guys just ditch the spare tire when you're running larger than stock? It's not like you'd put a 275 on when you're running a 35" Falken, right?

Nah mines still hanging back there lol. Wouldn’t use it in a normal circumstance but I guess it could get you out of a bad situation if absolutely needed.

This. Last resort, get you out of a pinch kind of thing... just put the tiny stocker on the front and keep it in 2wd if REALLY needed

I will be hitting the classifieds to find a used 35" and buy a cheap 17 or 20" take off, to slap it on and carry instead... hopefully sooner than later!
*Perfect World* You'd just buy 5 of your new/larger tire + wheel set up... but I'm poor :birgits_tiredcoffee

*EDIT* Will only work if you are running spacers, or want to carry a spacer with you as part of your spare tire kit

There are SOOOOOO many options for a lifted truck. I thought I wanted a simple level, and a modest 1.5" body lift. This morning I read thru a thread where he dd bils, but set at 1.4 and then a 6" RCX lift. He still fit under his garage door! That's my only real concern, and of course $$. I'm not sure which way to go now.

Yea I was thinking that or just getting a 285 or 295/65/20 tire to put on the factory spare wheel that’s close to a 35” diameter but narrow enough it’ll fit. Maybe I can find a decent used one.

2010 SLT 6" rough country lift, 37x12.50x20 toyo MT 3:92 gears
Need to install bilstein struts up front to get it to sit level. Not a fan of these Toyo MT at all. When they burn out, getting replaced with nitto trail grapplers. Will be replacing the chrome bumpers with painted sport bumpers soon.

I had 37" nitto trail and mud grapplers on my jeep. I didnt care for the muds. Loud as heck, and didnt get crap for mileage. Loved my trail grappelers. Got 60k out of them, and they went just as good as my mud graps in the mud.
The toyo MT wear fast, are not as aggressive as the trail grappler, and clog up quik in mud.
Dont get me wrong, the toyo NT are quiet, and handle great in the highway...but when you are spending almost $500 on one 37" tire, you want max life.

Love that look with the 35's!! How is the ride compared to stock? What gears do you have and what shock did you go with for the rear?
