I was told by the shop who did the install that the slight vibration at high speed is caused from the tires tread. They say it's normal and will go away once I put a few miles on the tires and they wear in.

They also said the control arm bushing showing from behind the front crossmember bracing is totally ok and that there is plenty of meat on the crossmember to hold it.

Sound legit to you guys?

Found that my truck rode a bit smoother and quieter after a thousand or so kilometers on Toyo M/Ts. Sounds feasible.

I didn't know about concentric rings so I looked that up. Very interesting. I'm seeing mixed answers on if Fuel wheels need concentric hub rings or not. I'll ask the shop when I talk to them. They forgot to leave the socket for the lugs in my truck anyway so I'm heading up there this afternoon.

You need them, no question. I've "been there, done that" on multiple vehicles and have advised many people of the same thing. Hub rings clear up the issue every time. The Fuel wheels I had on my old 1500 came with hub rings. Yours should have too otherwise they're cheap enough to buy.

Sounds like a bit of hog wash to me. I'm on my 3rd set of Toyo MT's and I haven't had ANY issues with vibrations from the tire tread. I drive the truck on the highway every day...

As far as the control arm bushing goes that's 100% okay. Whatever adjustment it takes to get the alignment correct is how it needs to be. As the shop said, there's still plenty of meat to hold everything together.

Thanks, man. Ya, the Fuels should have come with them. I should be able to just take a wheel off and look behind it to see if they made it on, right? I'd like to see for myself.

Roger that. It sure looked concerning to me, but a few folks who know more than me have said it's normal so I'm feeling much better about that now.

Yup. If you pull the wheel off there should be a little ring around 1/4" - 3/8" thick. It will most likely stay on the hub but may come off in the hub bore of the wheel.
