Hi everyone,

I have a 2011 dodge ram 1500 laramie and I just recently bought a 42" curved light bar. I was wondering if there is a way to mount it on the bumper without drilling holes or spending a ton of money on a new bumper or grill.

Also I am totally open to other ideas if anyone as any,
Thank you

Drilling holes will likely be unavoidable but plastic inserts don’t cost too much to replace if you ever change your mind and take it off. In terms of mounting brackets. I used aluminum and cut it to the size and shape I needed. Only cost me the light bar. You can go to any business that does forging and ask them for some small aluminum scrap pieces. 34c4dfb41e2a808e2fcdf0af48ac88e8.jpg

And FYI I’ve heard if you just remove the plastic insert you get a wind noise but that is an option

I may have been lucky but I had mine in that location on my 11 and 13, just simply took the insert out and bar in. Didn't have any wind noise from it though.

Although he has a Laramie which would be different from the sport bumpers that I had, so I can't speak to wind noise with that style bumper.
