I drive a 2012 Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn, and I recently added a light bar to the front. Whenever I turn it on, two codes are thrown and the check engine light comes on. I have to reset the codes before my truck will run again. Anyone help me with whats possibly wrong? The truck has two batteries and I believe a 100 amp alternator, so I wouldn't think it would be a power problem, but it started doing this after the light bar was added. It did not do this before. A list of upgrades below so that there's clarity of what all I am running.

Upgrades include: LED headlights, 32" Light Bar, 2x 4" light bricks, Sound system with 1000 watt amp pushing two 10" subwoofers, EDGE CTS programmer, and Banks Cold Air Intake.

What did you tap into to get power for your light bar?

I have the light bar tied into the passenger side battery, while everything else is tied into the driver side. Note: LED headlights run to the factory harness.

Where is it switched from? You have to be pulling power from somewhere on the truck for it to be throwing codes not just the battery.
The light bar should be using a relay harness where the power is drawn from the battery and your switch is tapped into some kind of aux circuit like the cigarette light and only triggering the relay

Ah, yes. The Aux switch is tapped into the cigarette lighter.

Two separate injector solenoid valve codes. I'd have to do it again to get the exact numbers for them.

Try grounding the light bar directly to the battery and see if that helps...

relay isolate the switch power. use the cig lighter as a trigger to the relay then power your switch.

newer vehicles are so sensitive to current draw that the slightest draw will do things like you are seeing.

what light bar are you using? can you post and install diagram for them?
