FYI I have a '22 Ram 2500 I bought it a couple of months ago used, I think it was a rental truck before I got it. It was not serviced properly, at 45000, two weeks ago the DEF filter warning came on, full of ash, the local dealer replaced it under warranty with no explanation. I had the Banks intake upgrade installed, shortly after than. On a short trip I was showing 22.5 mph average with a few reading up to 22.9. On the way home the check engine light came on, code was p0402 to much soot. I called Banks and their tech staff told me they are aware of the problem and working on a fix that should be out sometime in August '25.

If you have experienced this issue call Banks and get on their repair list, they will supply the repair kit free when they become available. The issue has something to do with the intake pipe.

I can see that coming. My truck does the regen twice per tank of fuel. I also get the check engine light each time the intake heater tries to come on.
