Any ideas what it could be?

Sounds like a bus and/or wiring issue. Maybe a module doing something stupid causing lots of things to freak out.

Strange things happen if your battery isn't working properly. I would check the battery, all connections and the charging system.

I’ll check the battery, I hope it’s not one of those things that “just happen “.

If it is common among Rams, I've never read about here and we've got some pretty religious Ram folk on this forum! I agree with the aging battery theory...change that sucker out and get back to us.

I’m gonna get a scan tool and see if anything comes up, if not it’s off to the dealer, not looking forward to a bunch of “we don’t know” theories

On the drivers side floorboard, above your left foot, there is a large "white" plug, that goes into another large connector. Check and MAKE sure that that is seated properly and tabs engaged. A lot of folks on the ED forum had that issue in the past, and it was that connection on the drivers side, against the firewall above your left foot.....

If that good, look under truck, frame, behind LF wheel, high up. There is a connector there also that has known to come loose. But the info above is usually the culprit:

After that, "Battery"

If all that not work, sorry to say, maybe dealership bound.........

I had a similar issue within the first 2 weeks of picking up my Used 2010. Apparently whoever hooked up the aftermarket Viper remote start had their head up their ass, and hooked it up wrong, causing shorts. Took it to the local Dodge dealer, and they fixed the problem by removing the aftermarket system and then replacing most of the burnt wiring under the hood. No more issues, and truck runs fine now.
