My trucks halo lights are terrible in the dark so I am thinking maybe to have more comfortable driving in the night I can put 2 lights behind the grill, how exactly does that get installed? Do I need to add like a bar in there for the lights to attach to? I have a auto place that will wire them for me he was asking what kind of housing the HIDS need but I have no idea what he's even talking about.

My personal opinion is you should replace your headlights.

Retroshop sells proper HID projector headlights for you truck that will have more output than most road going vehicles.
Not only that, they look far superior (again, my opinion) to all the aftermarket 'projector' lights.

Yes, you could add more lights, behind the grill for example.
But why not fix the problem instead of putting a band aid on it?

I use my Behind the Grille for at Night in the Middle of No where when the Grass is High and right up to the shoulder so I can see the Wildlife far enough away but switch em off if any other cars around up front cause really the factory lights and Driving/fogs in the bottum of the Bumper do fine, They are also a life saver during a Snow Storm/Blizzard.
Cost was only $12.99 for the Pair (Glass Lense/Plastic Housing) including Hardware and both 55W Bulbs and can be upgraded to 100W for an extra ( 9 bucks a bulb). Gotta Love Princess Auto up here in Canada.
