Took the 2500 in for a couple things, two of which were the clearance lights filling up with water (as in looking like 5 fishbowls on the truck) and the third brake light wire protruding out the top.

The clearance lights writeup: Service bulletin confirm customer concern as per technical service bulletin NECC to replace clearance lamps. No number listed for the bulletin.

I found the third brake light issue while wiping down the roof. The gasket only went half way across, the wire that connects to it got in the way for the other half. I didn't get a pic before I took it to the dealer but when I looked down on the top of the light fixture I saw the gasket on one half then the wire.

They re-mounted the third brake light and replaced all five clearance lamps.

My dad had the recall/bulletion for his 18 for his cab lights... my 16 didn’t have any.... but I’ve replaced 2 so far because of them cracking.... but mine are supposed to be problem free [emoji849]

What is the problem with the cab lights on the 2018s? I had mine installed by the dealer as an option....

Had some tsb for the lenses cracking (all mine have cracked at the front mounting screw. Which let’s water fill the lenses and drown the bulb)

Seems like I have read on here that it is an installation thing. They are either torqueing them too tight at the factory cracking them, or they are not tightening them enough & are leaking through the gasket.

Something. I’ve had 2 on this truck, my last one didn’t do any, my dad had 2 on his previous truck, and 1 do it on his first 4th gen with cab lights
