Lomax Tri-Fold hard cover installed

I just picked up the Lomax on Amazon for $730... and it took about a whole 5 mins to install it with a friend holding the rails...
Here are a few images on it right now. One of the main reason why I chose this Lomax was that I could wrap it in vinyl to match the Hydro Blue cheaply instead of having it painted.
The love the low profile and you can close it with the tailgate either opened or closed.

I will take some underside pics tomorrow for you... yeah I found those prices as well... then I used an app to find all the discounts and lowest prices... yes I know those apps don't work.. but it was free and it worked... the app is called "Honey"

There’s a rubber seal all around the outer perimeter, the tailgate goes under it a couple inches or so

Yeah I can see the rubber seal at the edge, looks like it's pretty close to leak proof to me.

On the 2nd pick, the corner looks open, where does the water go that gets in there? is there a channel inside to route it out?

I got mine for $650 out the door on eBay, it was a customer return. I was a little Skeptical, but the seller had good ratings. When I got the box it appeared to be unopened. Score lol

I have had mine for 11 months and no leaks. Another feature is it locks down at each panel so it’s sturdy and doesn’t move in wind and high speeds

its super easy to remove, takes like 15 sec

I just put on a bakflip MX4 which I got from a friend, and I do like it but I want this Lomax because of how low profile it is. Looks the cleanest out of all the covers I've looked at. Hopefully I can score a good deal on one as well. That will look good wrapped blue too.

I did my first power wash with this cover on... and guess what...

the inside of the bed was very dry... no water leaks at all and I tested all the way around and up close... great top so far!

i fell in love with this cover while waiting for bed liner to be sprayed in, but did not purchase. Tried to find a better price online without success, ending up going with a soft tri-fold for about a fourth of the cost. Anyway IMHO it is the nicest looking cover I have seen. Take a look at this real owner honest review, watch the whole thing, tips about wrapping and problems encountered.
For what it's worth, when the soft cover gives up the ghost, I will look check out the Lomax again. I was very impressed with the display model and I believe it has been improved? I remember thinking though that a coat hanger between the tailgate and cover could snag the pull string and open the cover?

Bottom line I was just going for looks and it nails that hands down!
