Long travel kit for 2002?

specifically a 2002 1500.

I see a lot of these for the newer models, but i'm not sure if any are even compatible with the 3rd gen models. I know there are kits to make the 2012's like the ram runner/pre runners, but I don't want to go out and buy a whole different truck just to get suspension.

Any help would be appreciated.

You might be able to get something going for the solid axle, since they're pretty easy to relocate with longer links /taller leaf packs /etc. Out front though, you don't have too many options if it's a 4x4 because as far as I know (I could be wrong) no one makes a long travel kit for the 02 to 05 trucks. If it's 2wd you could do a drop knuckle for bigger tires and steeper a arm angles to get more ground clearance travel since there are no driveshaft angles to worry about. ( yes steering geometry changes, but that's a different problem entirely!) In short, long travel is a whole other can of worms compared to a regular 1500 lift kit but it is doable.
