Truck looks great with the new wheels. I am not understanding the whole valve stem issue though. Reason why I am asking is I also have an '11 and I am gonna go with the hostage wheel also. I was gonna get new OEM sensors for them, but what ur saying is they dont work in the rim?

Great new pics! Steps...gotta go with the AMPs unless you plan to rock crawl then you might want the side protection.

So far the shorter valve steam was the same size as I currently hace. The tire shop is now on day 4 of trying to find a fix. Fuel says they do not understand the issue and it makes no sense to them why their valve steam will not work. The thing is that is does work just not with the OEM tire sensor because of the location the valve steam hole was drilled in the wheels as "the worst possible spot" according to the tire shop. The issue is when the OEM tire sensor is installed with the valve steam it is to long and the cap taps. Pics......

Here is a picture of how the top is worn from tapping the control arm.

So with the fuel valve steam my tire sensor does not fit in the wheel attached to that steam. I think it goes in at a different angle (the ring is more oval shape). I hope that explains it better. So I am now looking into buying different tire sensors that will work with the pressure system of reading the tire pressure. The ones they are finding that fits reads off of a tire's rotation speed and that only works at speeds of 40 and above. I never knew that there was so much to trying to figure out.

Yeah I like the amp idea the most and my sponsor said he can't get me any great deal on the steps only $1100 for the amp steps and the install would be free. I really need the steps due to my injuries from being blown up. I just really don't like the look of my rhino lined steps after being use to not having steps when they were being sprayed. The truck just looked cleaner with out visible steps. Thanks I'm pretty happy about the pictures. I hate that I had to spend $14 at the car wash and by the time I drove 4 miles the truck was dirty again.

Ok so what ur saying is instead of the valve being on the front side that they are on the back side? Do you think this is just a specific issue cause of ur offset or anything? I will be running an 11" wheel with -24 offset, maybe there is a chance I won't run into this problem.

They have valves in the front and in the rear. I hope that you don't run into any issues like I have.

Ok so what you're saying is that the inside valve stem(one pictured) is contacting the control arm? That the only problem?

I know that the black valve stems that came with my fuel wheels are mounted on the outside lip of the wheel and the inside valve stems are chrome metal and look a little shorter..The inward stems are angled toward the rim and don't stick out past the inside lip.

On my 09 the TPMS are metal stems not the rubber style they have a nut that tightens them on.

Yes, and the air sensor will not fit on the fuel valve steam. So until the shop finds a valve steam that works with the OEM tire sensor, or a tire sensor that works with the fuel valve steam, I do not have a tire sensor in the front wheels.
