I have been looking at a bunch of threads lately about different lift options and I'm having trouble deciding what to do. Ultimately I'd like to fit 35s on wheels with a 4.5"-5" backspacing. I see a lot of people talk about bilsteins and I'm not sure how you can get a lift from a shock. I know with Jeeps they are the shock of choice as it gives a comfortable ride. I do want to temove the rake, or at least bring it down to an inch difference instead of the 3" it has now. Also, I won't be offroading a lot, but would like to be able to go mudding without any issues. So here are my questions:

What is the cheapest, yet best, route to go for my goal and purpose?
What adjustments need to be made with the lifts?
Would a 3" BL cause any issues with a bull bar fitment or anything else?
How will I benefit from bilsteins vs a 2.5" leveling kit (other than the smoother ride)?
What route can I go without voiding the warranty?

All help is appreciated. And if you have any pics so I can see what it looks like, that would be helpful.

-Front lifting blocks would be your cheapest route
-Nothing aside from installation of lift and a good alignment
-BL will cause issues with aftermarket bumpers, bull bars, or anything that mounts to factory braces or tow hooks. Will also need exhaust tips corrected to match cut outs in rear bumper
-Only benefit to bilsteins in my eyes is being able to use them on a suspension lift later on. I bought a level then eventually needed bils for my suspension lift. I prefer the ride with spacers on the factory stuts
-I have not heard of warranties voided with just a level. My body lift has causes issues at dealerships but my fault. They have to prove the aftermarket part caused the failure

Any particular brand and spacer size you recommend? I was kind of thinking of the RC 2.5"F and 1.75"R just to have a little height in the real as well. Would you suggest a different route? As for the bull bar issue with BL, do you know if brackets are available to raise the bar 3"?

I had the rough country leveling kit and liked it a lot and enjoyed the ride it provided so I would recommend that route especially for the price.

There are no brackets that I know of but anything can be made/bought with the right cash. The bull bars are a little useless imo although I do really like the look of them. I would rather have the 3" of lift.

I ran a 3" body lift with the rcx leveling kit for awhile and o really liked it. I had 35x12.50x20 on the factory rim with 1/4" wheel spacers. It was a super nice look and I got quite a few comments with people who aren't ram enthusiasts thinking it was a special package or something lol. Its a cheaper way to get 5.5" of lift which is actually bout all you get from a 6" suspension lift. Next time I'm on a computer I'll find pics for you.

Look into Zone Off-road. I had one on my Silverado, ran 10,00 miles on it no issues at all. I personal just got the RCX 6" because of the deal I got with free shipping. I think you can get the 4" for $1249 ish, and you don't have to cut the tie rods or ends. Plus great customer service they were the only ones who would work with me to ship my lift to Italy when I was stationed there.
