You dont see too many thats for sure, but dodge didnt keep numbers as far as truck quantities back then so theres no true way of knowing how many there are. That being said, they arent worth as much as a comparative ford or chevy because theres not much market for older dodge trucks. Theres a way bigger market for older fords and chevys. Being only 2wd is also kind of a drag to some people. Basically its worth whatever you are or were willing to pay.
Aftermarket accessories and parts availability is kind of a headache sometimes because its such a limited market.
Its a really clean truck and I wouldnt mind to have it sitting in may garage as a weekend cruiser. How many miles are on it? That 360/727 is a bullet proof and reliable combo. I’d guess being a one ton its got a dana 70 rear end which is in my opinion a good thing. If you want more info than can be found here, I’d recommend checking out ramchargercentral.com, lots of older dodge truck guys there that could tell you more about it. They have sections for the pickups, not just ramchargers.
If you dont mind to oblige some of us, more pics are appreciated. Some of us enjoy these older trucks.
I have a ‘78 W200 with 440/727 and 4.10 dana 60 rear, dana 44 front. Almost completely original, 78,000 miles. Bought it from the original owner who ordered the truck in 1977. Welcome to the old dodge trucks club.
