Looking for some help please

So a customer brought me a truck to do a delete on. Nothing new I do them all the time. So I hooked up to the truck and went to put the tune one it and that when things went downhill. I'll skip over a bunch of it but basically some had put a 2024 ECU into a 2021 truck so things didn't go as planned. Well I got a new computer the correct one and now I'm fighting with get it synced up with everything else and desperately need help. Dealer won't touch it, had multiple locksmiths have tried to get the thing to work and nothing. So I was able to put the correct vin in to the new computer with cda 6. What I'm fighting now is getting the handshake with the modules to happen. I tried on alpha obd and it said it needs a code it's a rolling code and not yet supported. Can any please give me some advice which tools do I need to buy etc. it's driving me crazy.

I believe Jscan can get the pin on 5th gen trucks.

I used it to pull the pin from the RF hub on a 2022 Durango and program new key fobs.

It's 25$ for a VIN access, but should work with the same hardware as AlfaOBD. I used it with a OBD Link MX+

With the 24 pcm installed, connect cda to the pcm, select calibration. Read the pcm, then transfer all of the read files to the box on the right, save that file.
Install the other pcm (must be a used one, not brand new), connect cda to pcm, go to calibration and write that file to it

Unfortunately when I tried to program the truck initially with the ez lynk it bricked the PCM. I sent it off to see if they could bench flash it. That's how I found out it was the wrong ECU.

If you can’t connect cda to that original pcm to pull the original file (which should always be the first step before tuning anyway), then you’re going to need a BRAND NEW pcm, and either a dealership to initialize it, or a locksmith to use his NASTF credentials and aftermarket witech account to initialize it.

That's the gpec5, correct?

I've noticed as of the last time I checked, cloning the gpec5 isn't supported yet by OBD Star or ECU Hero. I wonder if it will in the future, or if there's something in the PCM that prevents it.

Same with Launch. The X431 Immo cloning functionality stops with the gpec4, if I remember right.

Whatever pcm a 2022+ Cummins uses. I don’t know about any of those other devices, but cda6 can read all the necessary pcm files to save, I’ve done it before.

Unfortunately I don't have the old PCM. When I tried to load the tune to the truck it killed it. So tuner had me send them the ecm and that is how we found out it was a 24ecm well the ecm got sent back to me but never made it to me lost in transit somehow.
