I once took a company car into dealer for oil change, company said we had to use them for first 2 oil changes because they were included in purchase price. I dropped it off and went next door for lunch. When I come back they pull it into the service drive and I see fluid dripping from under the hood. I open the hood and service manager watches. I see the fluid is coming from the coolant overflow tank. The bottle is completely full with mostly blue liquid. I also see the washer fluid is green. They topped off both fluids but in the wrong tanks. I also notice the oil filler cap and dipstick are missing. They agreed to flush the coolant and washer bottle and give me a loaner car for the night. I get a call that it would be about 10 days to get a dipstick for it and I could not keep the loaner for that long due to insurance regulations. Apparently, dipsticks rarely need replacement and are not stocked locally. I offered the solution of them pulling a dipstick from a new car on the lot and they could wait for the part to come in before selling it. They called me back in an hour and said it was ready. Not sure if they pulled one from a new car or found the original part. Although the dealer service sucked the car, a 97 Dodge Interpid was a great car to drive. Great ride, quiet, plenty of power, and just felt good. Also as a company car we only kept the for about 40-50 miles so long term reliability was not a factor.
