Advance timing?

That might help you take advantage of all that air and fuel...

Thats what a powerwire does...it's a 4.7K ohm resistor, that splices into the AITS and tricks the PCM into thinking the air is 22 degrees cooler than it actually is, thus adding fuel and bumping timing a little bit.

I have an extra one here.

I have the magnaflow catback that exits before the rear wheel. Have a magnaflow y pipe that will go on soon. Debating on doing an actual intake or keepin the k&n drop in with the PVC mid pipe. Can I make a power wire or is it easier to buy one?

Im new to this sorta thing so if anyone is bored at work and wants to type up instructions id be great full. And this isn't harmful to the engine is it?

Sure man! i went to Home Depot and got a piece of 4" PVC about 24" long (in the cut off rack) got 1- 90 degree 4'' elbow, 2- 4" to 3" rubber couplers and a grommet for a 1" hole with a 3/4" ID. Cut to fit, glue together, IAT pushes into the grommet nice and snug. Painted with bed liner in a can and she good!

You need the 3" to 4" adapter couplers. The 3" end actually measures 3 1/2 ID which fits over my airbox outlet and TB. I used 4" PVC tube to retain some of the Plenum volume.
