Lost power

Ok, so I was at a light coming home for lunch. Light turned green, I floored it. Instead of throwing into my seat like she normally does, she bogged down horribly, choked a bit, backfired, then took off like the beast se normally is. No CEL, no anything. I'm guessing cat clogging, but not sure. Merc, dodgedude, where y'all at? Lol

A failing TPS *can* cause the problems you've described.

Wouldn't that throw a code though? Also, I noticed while driving, if I kick it up to neutral, then back to drive and give it gas, it chokes for a few seconds and takes off fine again.

It took my intake off when I got back to the shop from lunch to see if my tb needed cleaning and noticed, the original owner must have tried cleaning it and messed up in the process. One of the butterflies is missing a screw and a lot of other screws are either stripped or missing.

My next step is trying to find a 50mm tb to swap out my stripped sticking pos tb. After finding the cause of this little issue this post is about.

Could get one from eBay. He'll just charge more if you send him a core that's not "buildable"...BUT, I think he could get the screws out, you'd just have to ask him.
