I'd still like to know what lines supply and return from my '09 water pump.
I'd like to flush from the return side pushing debris out where it came from
rather than vice versa. It looks like cast line is supply judging from shape of
pump there. Instead of o-ring tube that looks like maybe return?
Thanks,
Top one at the firewall should be pressure, bottom one should be return. After flushing a few guys have switched the lines around and ran them that way for a couple hundred miles with RMI,then do another flush, before reconnecting them back the way they were.

HHAAAA!!!!! Got heat ! ! First in garage without water I just used that posted tool on Amazon, and just blew air, through suggested return. Out came sounded like a glob and water.
Couldn't really tell, landed in a container with coolant(water). Then backed out where I have hose and did another half dozen "flushes". I have low flow from hose, let it feed return
a few seconds, then hit the air. What I saw coming out appeared to be WAY more than
what would flow through a mostly blocked heater core. Coolant temp 125 and I could feel some warm through vents. About what I had lately fully warm. Then at 162, very warm.
Yessss!

If Burla hasn't convinced you about the benefits of RMI,you should take his advice and throw a bottle in the cooling system ;)

Oh yes had 1 in before this. Then still need to drain again and add antifreeze and RMI.

unless you flush back into the block at both hose connections you will get to redo this next year. once the coolant was dumped plenty more crud came out of the lower hose of course a air/water gun was used wimpy water hose is NOT going to cut it. Heater rocks just as good as any car now
