I'm currently looking to get a 2024 2500 and finding some misleading info on differentials.
I know what an LSD (clutch based) diff is, and What a Locker is (though I'm not quite sure how Ram does an auto locker), and their anti-spin should be a Torsen gear set.
When looking at various trucks, I see some listed as Anti-Spin (so it should be a Torsen gear set), but then in a different place (for the same vehicle) it will specify Auto locking.
So I'm wondering how to tell the difference without opening the rear end.
I prefer the Torsen gears, but if Ram auto locking works well maybe I could live with that.
My use is on and off road towing (6-8K lbs), loose dirt/gravel, mud, snow, and ice. Not rock crawling or hardcore off road.
