Tried the search, but no luck. Anyone have a VOA for Lubegard or Liqui Moly?

Liqui Moly settles as does any mos2 additive when the vehicle isn’t running as do all additive and fluids. It does circulate upon operation and Lubegaurd is also top notch. I use all three Lubgaurd, Liqui Moly and Motorkote at different times you’ll have people smarter than me talk on the merits and pitfalls of each, just like Redline, Royal purple and Amsoil. If it works for you amd quiet’s the tic, cleans the sludge and improve’s performance any and all of these have proven their worth.
To go off topic a little there’s also BG product’s that work also, their 44k, MOA and EPR, are widely used by dealership’s for cleaning sludge, engine performance and emissions. My favorite for intake/gas is Berryman’s products that clean the caramelization from having to run ethanol in your engine causing sludge build.

Burla, do you know if an oil analysis gives you an acidity reading? I have a four-stroke outboard (2004 Yamaha F150) and I use Redline oil, but I fish a lot of small lakes and sometime I only put 25 hours a year on the engine (Yamaha recommends change every 100 hours or once a year) and I hate spending the money on Redline and dropping the oil after 25 hours. Before Redline, I've used RP, Amsoil & M1, I've had a few oil analysis done over the years and the oil was always good at the end of the year as far as the additive package. Just trying to figure out if I could run the redline for 2 years.

It is ten bucks extra for TAN reading, you have to order it. TAN = total acid number.

I was thinking about an off the shelf syn with Lubegard and change every year, but I ready like the zinc and anti-shear shear qualities of Redline. I'll get the TBN and see if I can go 2 years between oil changes. Thanks.
