Lol yes I did myself. I don't let many "mechanics" work on my dodge if they don't own one themselves

Smart person. I found that out a long time ago when i was a GM person. The people working on Chrysler products just hated them and many, many times did an intentionally lousy job on the vehicle and for the customer. Of course, back them most wrench turners liked engine work and they weren't getting any working on Mopars.

Best regards,
Dusty

Could it possibly be your torque converter not releasing when you come to a stop? Essentially, not putting in the clutch . Fix would be change the solenoid that controls that function. I would think that type of failure would trip the CEL, but stranger things have happened.

If I were you I would go to Auto Zone or Oriellys and rent their Fuel pressure tester and hook it up to the fuel rail and check Fuel pressure. If fuel pressure is in the right range, then you know you fuel pump is good. After that I would check other things suggested. BTW I think you are smart to work on your truck and don't let those 4th Gens sway you my 05 has 292000 miles and runs like a top. I too am an old mechanic and I only used MMO to clean valves, I would never have thought to use it for injectors.

I don't understand completely, did this problem exist before the tank fell or after? If after you might have a poor group d or a bad connection in the wirei g need the pump. Check for any kinked hoses or wires that look like that have been stretched. Make sure any plugs are fully connected.
