Emailed with Neil at Maple Offroad today. Pulled the trigger on a set of sliders and a skid plate. I was concerned with the step width, and I was looking to get around 7" from the body. That is about the same distance from the cab as the OEM steps. I believe it is going to add about 1"-1.5" of width. I wanted to keep the aesthetics of the bump out, so I wasn't inclined to go one width for the whole length. I went with the full top plate, and epoxy coat on both the sliders and the skid.
I really can't wait to receive these and get them installed along with my Dethloff skid that is on order. I'll try to post some pics of the measurement differences between the sliders and stock step once I receive them.
Living in Maine, I prefer to trust the designers/fabricators from the Great White North when possible. Sorry, made in the USA guys. I'll take the Canadians.
Maligator, thank you again. Your write up helped me make some decisions.
